Jackson County – Lee’s Summit Jefferson Street widening project moves forward.

The city of Lee’s Summit is moving forward with plans to make improvements of Jefferson Street, from Stuart Rd to Persels Rd. Construction is estimated to take start around Apr 2014. Right of way acquisition will occur sometime in 2013. The $9,714,000 project is funded by the 1/2 cent sales tax, approved in 2007.
